Food Security
Our mission is to foster sustainable and resilient agriculture and food systems in rural areas within the most vulnerable communities. In line with this, we intend to provide financial and technical resources in the form of Agricultural investment grants, technical assistance and advisory services along the food chain.
Our interventions
1. Increase Access to Finance for Farmers: There’s a critical need to develop farmer organizations. With our support, farmer organizations are better able to work with private sector companies and have stronger governance, financial management, negotiations and leadership systems, all for the benefit of their smallholder farmer members.
2. Rural Enterprises for Agricultural Development: This program aims at responding to critical development challenges confronted by smallholders by supporting the development of rural producers’ organizations as effective value-chain actors and credible partners. This in turn augmenting the capacity of producer organizations to improve social cohesion and serve as effective value chain actors and partners.
3. Enhance sustainable business models by strengthening their capacity to provide services to farmers including facilitating access to financial services, technology, inputs, and markets.

Disaster Preparedness
Landslides in Murang’a county are caused by heavy rain, earthquakes and poor land management.
Our interventions
When disasters strike, we want to be able to complement other rapid response patrons in responding fast, effectively, and efficiently to get medical and temporary shelter resources where they need to be to save lives.
As a measure to address this perennial disaster, there’s a zealous need to Partner with Geological, Health and Safety professionals in conducting civic education on ground assessment and preventative measures.
Our immediate interventions on Landslides and general disaster preparedness have been anchored around two thematic call to action points:
1. Plant ground cover on slopes using erosion-preventing plants such as bamboo and vetiver grass.
2. Equip schools and faith-based organizations as custodians of disaster relief tents and related items to act as temporary accommodation during emergencies. Donations shall enable us to source and put together standby Hangars, Shelter buildings and Workshops that can be dismantled and relocated to demanding areas.
“Supporting hope in times of adversity”

Habitat Planning & Improvement
We recognize the imperious need to improve the quality of human settlements, which profoundly affects the daily lives and well-being of our peoples. The Foundation’s blueprint carries a sense of hope and an opportunity to; undertake rural and urban planning, natural hazard mitigation, construction of water and sanitation infrastructure, solid waste management, water provision, housing design and construction and other programs that will improve living conditions in our deserving rural areas.
How we plan achieve this
Our methodology is to build decent and affordable homes around rural areas in partnership with families in need of a decent place to call home. While we focus on onboarding volunteer structural engineers and architects, funding towards this program will be applied in the procurement of low cost, sustainable building material such as:
1. Interlocking stabilized soil blocks
2. Bamboo
3. Recycled plastic (Plastic sheets, plastic lumber & Plastic bricks)
Moreover, enhancing sustainable building efforts is backed by proven benefits to being more earth-friendly by reducing waste, promoting healthier living and energy conservation.
